On January 2, 2023, Ronald Ray Lutz, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away at the age of 85. Ron was known as “Pop” to family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judith Lutz; his two sons, Ronald Lutz (Carol) and John Lutz; five grandchildren, Connor Lutz (Arika), Hunter Lutz, Dr. Shelby Wright (Josh), Morgan Lutz (Aaron Smith), and Ashleigh Lutz; two step grandchildren Adam Jernigan (Kaitlin), Ashleigh Acker (James); great-grandchild, Lincoln Lutz-Shavnore; and five step great-grandchildren, Avery Jernigan, Annaleigh Acker, Everly Jernigan, Caroline Acker, and Cooper Jernigan.
Known for his collection of many hats he wore, he often heard “I like your hat!”
No memorial service or funeral is planned. Arrangements are with National Cremation & Burial Society.
