So very sorry for your loss. I am sure you know but Bob was an icon to so many of us growing up here. My father would sit and chat with Bob while the 4 of us ran around golfing. When i had children we also took them many times as we have my grandaughter. Please know how much he meant to this town and how much we loved him!

I brought my 2 young sons and my Mom to vacation in the area around 20 years ago and took this photo when we visited your Goofy Golf. Loved the memories we had from our time there. RIP and thank you for entertaining us!

So sorry to hear of Mr Bob’s passing. Although I never met him, my husband may have. When I first came to Ft Walton, my husband took me to Goofy Golf  and shared his memories of going there when he was a child.  It was intriguing.  I can see he was a great man with an awesome personality.  May he Rest In Peace.  May you all find comfort in God’s words.

My father, Ray Davis, and Bob were very good friends. They bowled together for many years and Ray also worked with Bob at Goofy Golf helping out as needed for several years. Ray built the Jaws shark that still stands at Goofy Golf today.   The Ray Davis family sends their deepest sympathy to the Fleskes family.     Bob will be missed by all.

What a fun, kind man! Thank you Bob, Mr Goofy Golf to us since we were kids, for the decades of fun. I used to love joking with him when our summer camp group came every week! Your little course has been, and still is, a tradition in our family! Prayers for your family. 

First and foremost my heart and prayers go out to Bob's family and friends.  Goofy Golf will always hold a special spot in my memories.  I took my children there and still do at times and now take my grandchildren there and as long as it remains I will take my great-grandchildren.   Wonderful place and wonderful memories - thank you for these! Rest in peace!

Im for ever grateful for the mark Bob and his family has made on Fort Walton Beach. My husband grew up playing at goofy golf, our kids and now our grandkids. Bob is a blessing to our community. Im sorry for you'r loss.

We've had the privilege of being Bob's nextdoor neighbors for many years and have one of the yards that Bob would "hop on his riding lawn mower and zip across," often several times a day. Bob always had a smile on his face as he cleared pinestraw from our driveway, brought in our garbage and recycling containers, or just stopped by for a quick chat. He especially lit up when our young grandkids were visiting and would rush outside to greet Bob when they heard him on his mower. Bob was a treasure and will be greatly missed! It's just not the same without hearing his mower and seeing his smiling face in the yard...

I remember as young as 5 years old playing. Always getting a green slushie after the Gator's mouth. Mr. Bill was always so kind. Four children and 5 grandchildren remember him as well. Godspeed!

I have lived here since 1971. Growing up, we had 2 miniature golf courses....Putt Putt Golf on Hwy 98 and Goofy Golf on Eglin Parkway.  Goofy Golf was always our favorite.  I grew up playing Goofy Golf and raised my son playing there also.  So many happy memories.  Thank you Mr. Fleskes and family for maintaining an affordable, family fun play area.  Deepest condolences.

My memories are of Lucky Strike Lanes. Mom and Dad (Joan and Adrian Moe) bowled there a lot. Some of my early memories were of the baby prison - it was I’m sure a huge perk to be able to get out of the house for a fun evening with friends, without paying for a sitter.  Money was tight then.  Later I joined a kids league.  Mom and Dad passed away recently - they were the same ages - and while clearing out their house we found my old bowling patches and trophies.

Of course we enjoyed Goofy Golf. Picking out your color club & ball, writing your score, trying to win a free game…

Sending prayers to the family.  I knew Bob all my life.  I started bowling at Lucky Strike at age of 7  when Bob managed the lanes.  He was one of my favorite people!  My daddy Ralph Hendrix and Bob were great friends.

My deepest condolences for your family. My Selena, Laurie and Robert Jr. I lived nearby and became close to your grandfather and grandmother when I worked there. I spent a lot of time there and have fond memories. 
After St. Mary’s I needed structure and your grandfather and dad were role models for me and I am forever grateful to them. God bless. 

I am glad to call Mr Bob my friend. I will miss seeing him come into the Concept House for his Haircut. I pray God’s Blessing on his Family.
