Rebecca Mendiola Wright

Rebecca Mendiola Wright, age 84 of Crestview, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at her home in Crestview Florida. She was born February 17, 1941, in Tacloban, Philippines, the daughter of the late Ramona ( nee Quinal) and Jose Salazar Mendiola. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Marina Mendiola, brothers Rogelio Mendiola, Ricardo Q. Mendiola and Norberto Q. Mendiola.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie (J.B.) Wright, son John Christopher Wright of Crestview Florida and granddaughter Ashely M. Wright Chico California, Sisters Teodora “Doris” Polidario (Benjamin) of the Philippines and Maria “Christina” Valle (Danny) of Philippines and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 9 am in Milton, Florida until time to proceed to First Baptist Church Cemetery, Harold Florida for graveside ceremony and interment. Memorials in her memory are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
