

He was a very loving husband, dad, and grandpa. Randall was born August 6, 1937, in Baker, FL.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Batson; father, Truman Roughton; brothers Daniel, Leon, Ray, and Junior; and sisters Janice Barton and Betty Sue Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Vermell (Dyal) Roughton; son Randall Lee Roughton, Jr. (Lori); daughters Brenda Cusack (Mike), Patsy Carter (Billy), and Sandy Nowling; grandchildren Jeremy Roughton (Julie), Candace Carter, and Cassandra Arnold (Derrick); great-grandchildren Rowdy Fretwell, Gracelyn Fretwell, Jason Roughton, Jaelynn Roughton, Paisley Arnold, and Breelyn Arnold; and sister Bobbie Dortch.
Randall worked as a mechanic all his life and was well known in the community. He owned an automative repair shop, Randy’s Garage; worked with his brother at Roughton Tile Company; and then later opened Randall’s Road Service, where he helped any and every one he met, from repairing a flat tire to giving the coat off his back. He will forever be missed.
Viewing will be held at National Cremation and Burial Society, 5641 Hwy 90, on Monday, March 1, at 10:30, with services from 11:00-12:00. Pallbearers are Jeremy Roughton, Gregg Roughton, Donny Roughton, Billy Carter, Mike Cusack, and Derrick Arnold. Honorary Pallbearer is Rowdy Fretwell.
