Just heard, so sad. Sadly, several months late. I had just been thinking of him as I hadn’t heard from him for a while.

Found out he was sick last year when three of us took him to lunch - just to catch up, hadn’t seen him in several years. We all had a good time and it was great to see him. He knew he was sick - which was so sad to hear. We all tried to stay positive for him.

I worked with him at Miami-Dade County Beach Safety for      30+ years. We rose up in the ranks together. He retired as a Captain in charge of Haulover Beach. He then got into raising and selling dart frogs for several years.

I dove with him  catching lobster, spearing fish, collecting tropical fish and coral rock for many years.

He was the pool lifeguard in the movie Cadyshack, a role which we was so humble of, yet so proud of as well.

He was a great guy with a bigger than life personality. In addition, I know he was so proud of his son Preston and all that he had accomplished. He will be forever missed.

I know you are now proudly sitting tower watch over God’s beach safeguarding all those who enter the water.
