Lillian Estelle Harris

Lillian Estelle Harris, 93, a lifelong resident of Chumuckla, Florida, passed away on May 18, 2023 at Pruitt Health Santa Rosa after a short illness. She was born to Willie B Jordan and Lessie Mae Jones Jordan. She has one living sister Myrtis Nims. She married Phillip Cook August 26, 1946. Together they had three children, Curtis Cook, deceased, (Cathy), Carole (Ronald) Bryant and Glenda Davidson. After being widowed she married Hoover Harris on July 5, 1978.

She was a wonderful homemaker who especially loved cooking for her family. She loved growing & tending flowers, fishing, sewing, and was a faithful Christian. Anyone who met her would immediately recognize the fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Steven Bryant, Peggy Bryant (deceased) Danna (Lonnie) Cobb, Scott (Kelly) Bryant, Vicky (Buffy) Cook, Sylvia Burgess, Cassy (Gordon) Gardner; nine great grandchildren Shelby Amaral, Kayla (Kristian) Cabarcas, Miranda Cook, William (Kayla) Coley, Matthew Cook, Katelyn Bryant , Alayna Dickard, Emma Gardner, Karli Whitfield and three great great grandchildren Allison, Caden and Jaxon Cabarcas.

The family would like to thank Pruitt Health Santa Rosa for the great care and love extended to her while she was a resident there.

A visitation for Lillian will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at National Cremation and Burial Society, 5641 Highway 90 West, Milton, FL 32583, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery.
