Karen Marie Leonard, age 74, of Navarre, Florida passed away on May 15, 2019. She was born on April 17, 1945 in Cleveland, OH to Charles Edward and Jane Marie Smith. In August of 2006 she moved from Pine Island, FL to Navarre, FL. Karen worked at Piper Air Craft as well as a nail technician at Linda Lavelle Spa and also in the deli and seafood department for Winn Dixie.
She enjoyed painting ceramics, crafts, doll making, stained glass, and loved plants and gardening. She is preceded in death by her brother; Ronald Chester Smith. She is survived by her loving husband; Robert George Leonard, son; Brian Edward Dent, sisters; Gale smith Gregory of Simpsonville, SC, Susan Smith Turnner of Geneva, OH, Jannice Smith Manry of Longview, TX, and Tracey Smith of Chagrin Falls, OH. She will be missed by many.
A visitation will be Saturday, June 1st, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. located at National Cremation & Burial Society, 5641 Hwy 90 W., Milton, FL 32583. An interment will immediately follow at Memory Park Cemetery.
