The family of Joseph John “Jay” Peoples regret to announce his passing on September 15, 2026 at age 55. Jay was born in Orlando, FL and was the son of the late Joseph Zin and Roswitha Peoples. He graduated from Boone High School, where he met his loving wife, Shariese. Together, they raised 3 children: Felicia, Chase, and Hunter. He was a devoted father and a pillar of strength and support for his family.
Jay was an avid fisherman, known for his many adventures of trying to catch redfish in the salt waters of Florida. He was quite the hunting enthusiast in the woods of Alabama. And in more recent years, he could be found on the shores of the Gulf Coast with Shariese, casting lines and unearthing hidden treasures in the sand. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Zin and Roswitha, and brother Greg. He is survived by his wife Shariese, daughter Felicia (Christian), sons Chase and Hunter, brother Richard, sister Kim, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on September 19, 2026 at National Cremation and Burial Society in Milton, FL.
