Janet May Mason

Janet May Errickson Mason of Milton, Florida passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026 at the age of 82. She was born in Tuckahoe, New Jersey on June 25, 1943 to Edward and Lucy Errickson. Janet is preceded in death by her husband Paul and son Albert. She is survived by her children, Karen Mason (Matt Kuss), Susan Williams (Patrick), Eric Mason (Chey), and Jennifer Olmstead (Jesse), grandchildren Coral Creamer (Jason), Joey and David Smirniotis, Anthony (Lacey) and Jon (Allison) Frenk, Zachary (Kateri), Sarah, James, and Will Mason, Miley and Logan Mason, Lilli and Lucas Johnson, as well as great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews.

Janet was raised in New Jersey and after graduating high school she went to secretarial school. She married Paul Mason on July 21, 1962. During Paul’s time in the navy they lived and traveled all over the US and finally settled in Milton, Florida after his retirement. She made many friends along the way and will be dearly missed. She was an avid reader, gardener, seamstress, and had a unique talent for arts and crafts. She had a kind heart and was always willing to give of what she had and to help someone in need.

Although heartbroken, all who loved Janet are grateful to know that she is at peace. She will always be remembered and forever loved.
