Cynthia J Williams

Cynthia "Cyndy" Jo (Larson) Williams, age 64, of Cottage Grove, WI/Milton, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 23, 2026 from metastatic breast cancer. Cyndy was born on October 25, 1961 in Pasadena, TX, the daughter of Dolores "Midge" (Schmidt) Larson and William "Bud" Larson. Cyndy graduated from McFarland High School in 1979. She worked for the State of WI right out of high school until she retired at the age of 55. She was married in 1988 to Jeff Williams. Cyndy and Jeff spent many years together traveling to Las Vegas where she enjoyed "winning" slot tournaments. She always looked forward to her annual trips to Mexico with her friends, hanging out on the beach or poolside making memories. She loved joy riding in “Mustang Sally” with the top down and spending her days relaxing on her boat, cruising the Mississippi River. Cyndy was a member of the Four Lakes Yacht Club in Madison, WI and never missed an opportunity to meet new friends, she had a kind heart and would talk to anyone. Those who knew Cyndy, knew she had a passion for flamingos, her pets and most of all, her family, who she took great pride in. Two years ago, Cyndy and Jeff fulfilled their dream of moving to Florida where they spent their days enjoying their lanai and lounging in the pool together with their friends, dogs, cat (and of course all the flamingo decor).

She leaves behind her loving husband Jeff; daughter Jennifer (Mike); grandson Jeffrey; brother Matt (Lois) Larson; brother Bill (Laura) Larson; brother-in-law Tom (Joni) Williams; sister-in-law Patti (Chris) Williams; sister-in-law Marilyn (Joe) Williams; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Mark Larson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, and details will be announced by the family.
