Billy Glen Sanders Jr.

Billy Glen Sanders, Jr., age 53, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away September 13, 2013. He was born February 17, 1960 in Pensacola, FL to Edna Earl Holland Sanders and the late Billy Glen Sanders, Sr.

Glen was a U.S. Army Veteran and loved driving trucks.

Survivors include his mother, Edna Earl Sanders; a son, Matthew MIlstead; and daughter, Samantha Schaeffer, all of Pensacola; his brothers, Mike (Connie) Sanders of Pace, FL and Terry (Linda) Sanders of Pensacola, FL; his sister, Karen (Robert “Rob”) Hicks of Pensacola, FL; his girlfriend, Patricia Green of Pensacola; and last, but not least his canine companion, Nana.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 3 PM at National Cremation & Burial Society with Pastor Doug Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens with military honors. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Rob Hicks, Stanley “Log Mann” Carnley, Matthew MIlstead, Buddy Sanders, W.C. Sanders, John “Little John” Schachle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 PM until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charitable fund for Edna Sanders, C/O Mike Sanders, 6070 Stonechase Boulevard, Pace, Florida 32571.

National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has charge of the arrangements.
