A Mother’s love is eternal and so is her absence. I miss her voice,

her smile, her warmth every single day. Mother’s hold their children’s hands for a while, but their hearts forever. Mother you may be gone from my sight but never from my heart and mind. I will always love you and will see you soon. Thank you for being my other and being my best friend.

The family of Bettie Gayle Agee regret to announce her passing on May 17 , 2026 in Pace, Fla. at her home peacefully. Bettie Gayle will be cremated and will be taken to Hanceville, Ala.to be buried with her mother Ruby Sims there as per her final wishes. Her memorials will be announced as soon as they can be made etc. She will have 1 in Alabama and 1 in Florida for friends and family at both. Bettie was born in Birmingham, Ala. To her mother Ruby and father Thomas A. Keel. She attended Fairmont High School . She had a long and loving life and always had a smile and love and laughter for everyone. She loved to dance, listen to music, travel and enjoyed time with friends and family. She loved her family reunions and her time with her grandchildren .Bettie is preceded in death by her parents Ruby Sims and Thomas Keel. Her husband Donald Agee. Her brother’s Richard Allen Keel and Bob Dwight Keel. Her sister Sharon Kennedy is still with us. She leaves to cherish her memories and carry out her last wishes her only child Michelle Trawicki. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ricky Sims, Randall Smith, Paysha Mitchell, Kirk Grant, and Jeremy Peters. She also has her great grandchildren Gabriel Sims, Cailynn Kay Dutton, Gracie Dutton, Dominic Smith, Alara Sims, Liam Grant, and Nathan Smith. All services and much love and appreciation go to the following people Tim Burke and Stephanie Wilson at National Cremation Society. Special love and thank you to Erica Bogle Drake her long term Hospice nurse and friend, Lynda her friend and social worker also to Sunday friend and bath nurse to help make her lasts days as peaceful, loved and as easy as possible for her .
