

Waymon Alexander Carroll was born January 6, 1948 in Washington, D.C. and passed away in Georgia September 13, 2025. He was the 8th child of the late Warren W. Carroll and the late Julia M. (Payne) Carroll-Bowie.
He grew up in Washington, D.C. in Lincoln Heights N.E, and was educated in the D.C. Public school system. He graduated from Chamberlain Vocational High School in 1967 studying TV and radio.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army for about 2 years and also served as a policeman. After that he was employed with the federal government.
He was preceded in death by his mother & father; Warren W. Carroll & Julia P. Carroll, and two sisters; Sandra Williams & Earline Washington.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son: Jaymal Carroll; Siblings: Warren (Reeder) Carroll, Monette Turner, Miriam Vincent, Jacqueline James, Patricia Moore, Ernest Carroll Sr., Maurice Carroll Sr. and Sylvia Phillips; one Aunt; Barbara (Payne) Mallory and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A committal service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 11:30 am at the Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA 30114. (Please plan to arrive at 11:00 am to park in the designated processional lane).
