Sally Jane Harriman Everett, age 79, of Cumming, Georgia, formerly of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on February 18, 2019. She was born to the late James “Babe” Harriman and the late Kaye Jordan Harriman on November, 20, 1940. She was one of four children. She grew up on the lake in Concord, New Hampshire.
Sally was married to the love of her life, Howard J. Everett. They had four children together: Keith, Kimmie, Kevin and Marykay. She was strong willed, loved the Lord and was compassionate towards others. She spent her career as an LPN and cared for countless people over the years.
Post retirement, she and Howard enjoyed traveling and cruising the world together. They were methodical and thoughtful in their retirement years being frugal and enjoying life with family and friends. She loved playing cards and could always find a card partner with her Howard; Spite and Malice and Texas Hold’em were some of her favorites.
Sally was one of the most disorganized organized persons you could know. She stocked up on necessities such as stationary, stamps and candles. She was one of the greatest correspondents you could ever know and she is still spoken fondly of by friends who miss receiving her letters.
In addition to her parents, Sally is preceded by her daughter, Kimberly “Kimmie” Everett; sisters, Shirley Harriman White and Elaine Harriman Brunelle; and son in law, Joseph Lindtner. She is survived by her children, Keith A. Everett (Susie), Kevin A. Everett and Marykay Lindtner (partner, Augustus Walker Bachman); grandchildren, Thomas Lindtner, Jessica Grubb, David Everett, Caitie Stevenson, Rachel Everett, Danny Everett and James Everett; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Art Harriman; and many aunts, uncles and cousins to cherish her memory.
