David carried his place in the family as the third in line of the oldest of five sons to Nora Hutchinson. A devoted family man, he was known for being protective of his brothers and sisters.
David was a creative spirit and expressed himself through graffiti. He was recognized as the founder of the CM family from the Upper West Side of New York City—a group of mentors and role models for young men growing up in the 80’s and 90’s. His creativity was matched by a sense of responsibility to others, and he gave his time and influence in ways that helped shape and strengthen the lives around him.
David also worked hard as an independent IT specialist, bringing determination and skill to his work. His caring and warm-hearted nature extended to everyone, especially those less fortunate, and he never missed a chance to share the gospel wherever he went.
In the late 90’s, David moved to Atlanta, GA, where he continued to inspire smaller communities with his enthusiasm, wisdom, and spiritual strength. His life reflected a deep commitment to family, to service, and to faith—leaving a lasting impression on those who knew him and those whose lives he touched.
