Conrad R. Gardner, 53, was born July 20, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away on April 10, 2026. A resident of Dawsonville, Georgia, Conrad built a life marked by steady devotion to his family and a quiet strength that never sought attention, yet was deeply felt by those who knew him.
For nearly 30 years, Conrad worked in IT, bringing intelligence and technical skill to his work with the kind of calm focus that spoke louder than words. Though often reserved and inclined to keep to himself, he carried a distinctive spirit—one that held both careful precision and an unmistakable appetite for the unknown. In his own way, Conrad embraced boldness and risk, convinced he would live to be 100 and endure even the apocalypse. He also found joy in simpler wonders, including a genuine enjoyment of Disney.
Conrad is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tracy Gardner; his sons, Nikko Gardner, Xavier Gardner, and Sabian Gardner; his daughter, Briana Gardner; his mother; and many siblings, including step-siblings. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.
Conrad was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents; and his maternal grandparents.
Conrad will be remembered with respect for his steady presence, for the depth behind his quiet nature, and for the singular way he combined a technical mind with a daring view of what life could hold.
