A resident of the world, her last residence was Spring,Texas but she lived in Florida, Louisiana, England, Cyprus and Singapore. Her parents, Patricia and Thomas, as members of the British Army, traveled the globe with their 3 children: Lesley, sister Lindsay and brother Micheal.
When Lesley moved back to England, she met the love of her life, James Ricky Guidry. The unlikely pair of the Cajun man and the English woman were married for over 40 years.
Lesley's greatest joy was children. Ricky and Lesley went on to have two children Emma and Matthew. Lesley adored her two children and gave them the powerful gift of a mother's unending love. Lesley was also active in every aspect of thier children's young lives from being a PTO member at thier school to a board member of their swim team.
Lesley's love for children also lead to her running an in home daycare, in which she took great joy in helping guide and care for many children. Later on, when her own children were older she enjoyed working as a teacher at Blessed Beginnings, the school at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Lesley thought her greatest loves were her children, Emma and Matthew but then she had her grandchildren Thomas and Benjamin. Lesley adored taking an active role in thier lives. Taking the boys to feed the ducks at the park was one of thier favorite activities together. Lesley took great joy in "spoiling" her two boys because that's what Mimis are for.
Later in life Lesley really enjoyed the show "Outlander", especially because of her Scottish roots. Lesley joined a Facebook group with people that shared her love of Outlander and Scotland. With her magnetic personality, she ended up making a multitude of amazing friends in this online community.
Lesley was passionate, fiery, strong, caring and loved fiercely. She will be missed by all but especially her husband Ricky, son Matthew (Kacy Landry), daughter Emma Howe, son in law Brian, grandchildren Thomas and Benjamin. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and other adoring family members.
