While in Denver, Julie worked as a flight attendant for Ports of Call and in her spare time enjoyed snow skiing and hiking the mountains with her good friend Marilyn. Julie moved to Houston in the early 80’s where she was an IT sales rep until retirement. Julie was a longtime volunteer for the Houston Rodeo and after retirement enjoyed spending time with friends, playing bridge and celebrating holidays.
Julie loved cheering on the Broncos, but nothing could compete with her love for the Notre Dame fighting Irish.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur Heron “H” Frey, 2 brother in laws John Frey and David Frey, and sister in law Charlene Frey.
Julie is survived by Heron's children Chris, Annie, Jeff and Pete, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grand daughter,
2 sister in laws, Marti Frey and Lee Frey, a brother in law Steve Frey, her best friend Eve Wooding and many nephews and nieces.
Interment will be at the Houston National Cemetery with her late husband “H”. Date to be determined
