Jack earned an MBA from Northwestern University. He built a career in heavy construction equipment sales, and his work took him and his family to Alabama, Mississippi, Wisconsin, and Texas. After settling in Beaumont, he started his own company, Specialized Construction.
Jack was actively involved in First United Methodist Church in Beaumont. In 2016, he founded the three-county chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace in Southeast Texas, a nonprofit that builds beds for children in need.
Jack was known throughout his community and beyond as the “go-to guy” for anyone in need of a helping hand. He often found ways to get a job done when others couldn’t. His motto was, “Challenges Welcome!”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Marjorie Seeley; his brothers, Paul and Glen Seeley; and his sister, Dorothy Southard.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Seeley; his daughter, Janel Seeley; his son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Renee Seeley; and his grandson, Seth Seeley.
