Jesse was raised in DeKalb, TX by his parents Mary and Jesse, Sr. Jesse’s family was devoted to the Lord and he was baptized at a young age in the Holly Creek, Mt. Zion Baptist Church by Pastor B. T. Mitchell.
He was a hard worker and diligently completed over 50 years of employment as an auto body repairman. He was also a proud father to three beautiful daughters.
Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Jones, Sr. and Mary Carson, his daughter, Sandra, sisters; Pearl Walter, Mary McLemore, Jean Williams, Faye Blackmon, brothers; Robert Moore and Tom Moore and his beloved dog Mike. Survivors include his daughters, Pamela George and Gwendolyn Jones-Hagan and her husband Roger, grandchildren; Chelsey, Tori (Derrick), Roger, Jr (RJ), Candace, Yolanda and grandpup, Tank, great-grandchildren; Logan, Nicholas, and Dylan, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jesse’s lively spirt will be deeply missed by many. We honor his life, and may he rest in eternal peace. “TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THE THINGS HE HAS DONE….UNTIL”
