Bobby Joe “Joey” Bolin, 49, of Katy, Texas took his final earthly breath at 8 PM on August 20, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family. Bobby was a proud Texas native, born in Midland on February 25, 1972 to Bob G. Bolin and Genita L. (Watkins) Wiggins. He and his family moved to Katy in 2012. He was a devoted husband, dad of four, and son of God with a heart to serve all who met him. Bobby made everyone feel special and never met a stranger. He was a fighter who never gave up, a snow cone connoisseur, everyone’s biggest cheerleader, and protector. Words cannot describe our BB.
His legacy will continue on the shoulders of his loving wife and children- Amy Kathryn (Warner) Bolin, 45, Zachary D. Bolin, 21, Gracilyn J. Rang, 20, and James M. Rang, 16, as well as many others who’s lives he forever impacted. Greeting him at God’s gates were many, including his Uncle Tommy, daughter Shayna, and grandparents. In lieu of flowers, the Bolin family asks that donations are made to the COPA Syndrome Foundation www.copasyndrome.org and to remember that you have the opportunity to save lives by becoming an organ donor.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. -Joshua 1:9
