Betty Jane (Cox) Pollock, age 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 17, 2021, in Richmond, TX. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 19, 1926, the daughter of Jay Elmer Cox and Lillian Laura (Roth) Cox. She met the love of her life, Howard Weldon Pollock, while he was stationed in the Navy in Philadelphia after WWII. They moved to Texas where they lived in Dallas and then Mabank. They were married for 54 years. Betty was a retiree from JC Penney's Life Insurance Company. She spent her last 7 years living at the home of her daughter, Donna, and son-in-law Malcolm in Fulshear, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Pollock, her daughter, Elaine Adkisson, and her parents, Elmer and Lilian Cox. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Sparks, Donna's husband, Malcolm, her granddaughter, Jamie Sparks and her husband Eric Deren, her grandson Scott Adkisson and his wife Becky, her five great grandchildren, Bacchus Deren-Sparks, Kvasir Deren-Sparks, Charlie Adkisson, Tommy Adkisson and Teri Grace Adkisson.
