Janice Elaine Farian
August 14, 1948 – October 25, 2020
Janice, 72, passed away peacefully in Jacksonville, Fl. on October 25, 2020 after a courageous 9 year battle with cancer. Janice graduated from Indiana University in 1969 with a BA degree in psychology. In 1971 she graduated from Fordham University with a Masters in Social Services. Before starting her work career she was able to travel to Great Britain for education and Europe to visit Swedish relatives and sightseeing. She worked at United Way as a planning director. She also worked as a supervisor and team manager at Barnett/Bank of America for many years. After leaving the bank, she obtained her Florida real estate license and worked in this industry for a short time. She then went to work at Citibank in the customer service area of the fraud department. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert T. and Adelaide (Olson) Farian and her sister, Linda A. Perry. She is survived by her brother, Robert A. Farian (Judy); 1 nephew, Thomas (Randolph) Perry (Cybele); 2 nieces, Jennifer Perry McFadden Baker (Markus) and Maureen Farian. She is also survived by 2 great nephews, Dylan Perry and Caydence McFadden and 2 great nieces, Fiona Perry and Adelaide McFadden. She will be missed by her friends and family including her cousins in the West coast area. Rest in peace dear Janice.
