Robert shared 36 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Mary Northrop. He is survived by his brother William Northrop, two daughters Lisa LaBaire and Christine Northrop, as well as his two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Louis Northrop; his son, Robert “Robbie” Northrop Jr.; and his granddaughter, Cameron Perelli.
Robert dedicated 30 years to his career at Bright House Communications. He was a master handyman who could fix almost anything, from cars & trucks to carpentry work and anything in-between.
In his free time, he especially enjoyed fishing and spending time in his dream garage. Robert will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his devotion to his family, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
