Raymond Elisha Dyer

He was a Merchant Marine Captain, traveling the seas for 40 years. He is greatly admired by many in the tugboat industry for his skills, professionalism, and dedication to the safety and welfare of his crew.

During his retirement years, he volunteered at the local Elementary school as a Reading Pal to preschool children. He was appreciated by the staff and loved by the students.

He is preceded in death by his mother Laura Sowers, his father Hugh Dyer, and sister Barbara Bauldree.

He is survived by his wife Lori, children Lisa (Danny), Raymond (Julie), Clifford, Laura (Marc), Norman (Randi), James (Samantha), and Caroline, his grandchildren Barbara, Jaden (Guy), Cara, Lucas, Ellie, Jaxson, and Corbin.

Ray was intentional with his fierce love of family
