Nancy M. Wood passed away June 22, 2026 at Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville, FL. She was born to Logan Blaine Murphy, Jr and Dorothy Jane Bowers August 14, 1944 in Richmond, Indiana. She is survived by her husband William S. Wood, son William S. Wood, Jr, daughter Rhonda Wood, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Nancy was a banker for over thirty years retiring in 2006. She was an avid reader and bowler, and acted as Treasurer of the Hernando County bowling league for over thirty years. Nancy and her bowling friends attended countless bowling tournaments throughout the United States during those thirty years. Arrangements were handled by the National Cremation Society in Hudson, FL.
