Born in Bordentown, NJ, to Howard and Gladys Jobes, she worked for most of her adult life as a township court clerk and an insurance policy developer. She spent winters in Naples, FL, and enjoyed summers on Long Beach Island, NJ.
Predeceased by her husband, Carl, of 57 years, and her son, Ronald, she is survived by her sister, Carol Dobson; her children Debra (Patrick) Neylan, Stephen (Patti) Mazurek, Dean (Robin) Mazurek, and Chuck (Kelly) Mazurek; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Lois will be remembered for her steady presence, strong work ethic, and remarkable memory. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Surf City EMS, (713 Long Beach Blvd, Surf City, NJ 08008) or Deborah Hospital Foundation, (200 Trenton Rd, Browns Mills, NJ 08105) in Lois’s name. Burial arrangements will be private.
