Mom,

Words cannot express the depth with which I miss you. You were always my biggest fan, my moral compass, my North Star. In a world left worse for your absence I can at least take solace in knowing that the lessons you taught me have prepared me to be kind and patient even when I may be struggling. I can be comforted in knowing that for you there is no more pain, and that the memory of you will never die in the hearts of those you touched. And while my life seems colder for losing you, that I know you are somewhere watching over me. You were, and are with me in every step I took. I love you mom.
