George T Ackler III

George Ackler was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 20, 1953 to George and Stella. George married Sharon on September 16, 1972. George and Sharon have been devoted parents to their four children. George touched many lives with his ability to love unconditionally and purely. He loved generously and affected anyone he ever met. He really was the man who would give you the shirt off his back. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege to know him.

George was preceded in death by his father, George Thomas Ackler Jr and his mother, Stella (Welter).

He is survived by his wife and teenage sweetheart of 47 years, Sharon, children; Brian (Kimberly), Kevin, Jennifer (Greg) and Thomas (Kami), grandchildren; Trey, Ally and Kyra, sisters; Barbara, Trish, Kathy, Bernadette (Ken), many beloved nieces and nephews, and his cherished pets.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church 1401 W Country Club Blvd, Citrus Springs, FL 34434 at 10:00am. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life gathering at the family home to follow at 1025 E Rockefeller Lane, Hernando, FL 34442.
