So sorry to hear about this horrible news! Fred was a very great guy! We're going to miss you my friend!!

Frederick was truly a kind person and was very caring. I got to know Frederick in mid 1990’s when I worked for the City of St. Pete. He was a true friend and showed my very young daughters how to fish. I helped him with the interior remodeling and design of his first home in St Petersburg. I moved out of Florida in 2006. I bright my daughters back for a visit to St Pete Florida this week Aug 12-19, 2022, and was looking for his contact info and got to learn his passing away last year. I was so fortunate to be his friend. I did get to meet Susan in the foyer of his house when we were in the early planning stages of the interior remodeling. My condolences to Susan and Frederick’s sister. 

Fred was one of a kind true friend who always put making others happy ahead of himself. He was the first person to introduce us to folks who became very good friends. Always happy, always making others happy. Fred, you will be missed and we will miss our weekly check in.  May you Rest In Peace after your long struggle.

Fred was one of those people that when you meet him you will never forget him. I will always have you in my thoughts my friend.

Fred, I will never forget you. You are my brother.  You have a lot of friends here that will make sure that Sue is ok, including Gail and I.  See you one day on the other side. God Bless your soul!  

Fred and Sue were two of the first people we met after moving here 9 years ago, and they couldn't have been more welcoming. Fred was definitely the "character" of R Beach, making it a fun experience for all who visited. Our little neighborhood won't be the same without him.  

Fred was always so kind and encouraging. He was bigger than life and you knew when he was in the room. He was a go getter and very much a people person. He was R Beach. I will miss him, he was famous for his “”Boom Boom , Baby!!!. This is one’s for you- “Boom, Boom!!!. Heaven has got some excitement in store.-

He will be missed.

This is such a huge loss not just to Fred’s family and close friends but also to the community.
With Fred you were never a stranger, you were a friend, at his restaurant you were family. He was kind, caring, the life of the party and always a bundle of positive and joyfully infectious energy. He was always the host with the most and his good time was making sure everyone else had a good time. I know he is in Heaven with my Mom and other customers, friends and family who have gone before us, having cocktails and having a blast and watching over us all. Rest in Paradise Fred.

Freddie was one of the first residents I met when I moved to Hernando Beach 6 years ago. We became fast friends and and shared jokes on each other. Freddie was good to everyone he met and his absence on weekends after he became ill left a void not filled in our community.  We told everyone we were brothers and for me he really was.

My deepest condolences to the family . I did not know him personally except I did frequent r beach many many times with great memories and he always greeted us with a big  hello and smile food was great had many dinners there and attended many events there . So so sorry for your loss may he Rest In Peace  .

Fred never met a stranger and one hell of a host! I did not go to Rbeach regularly but when I did he knew my name and made sure I was taken care of! I missed seeing him when Rbeach closed, and will definitely mourn his passing. But if I know Fred I know he has already made new freinds and is entertaining them. Everytime I hear thunder I will think of him. BOOM BOOM! I would tell him to rest in peace. But, he is not the resting type! :(

I really enjoyed reserving tables for comedy nights and meeting up with our friends at RBeach- I especially remember the last time I saw Fred come in after surgery wearing his back brace and using a Walker and wearing his mask to protect himself from germs.- he was such a great restauranteur! We had our company Christmas party there a while back and he always made sure things were perfect ! He’s is missed by the community!!
