Eric Otto Husby

Born on August 11, 1967, in East Orange, New Jersey, Eric spent his childhood in Bud Lake. He pursued a career in law, graduating from Michigan State University Detroit College of Law in 1994. For many years, he was a respected lawyer, known for his commitment to his work and his community.

Eric was a man of deep faith, actively involved in his church and a devoted family man. His greatest joy was his family, and he was the proudest supporter of his daughters' activities, from theater to dance. He had a special passion for Disney trips and cruising with his family, creating countless cherished memories. Eric also loved being outdoors, often striking up conversations with neighbors while doing yard work. His friendly and outgoing nature touched everyone he met.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Berit Husby.

Eric is survived by his beloved spouse, Juliana Silva, and his two cherished daughters, Sophia (12) and Chloe (9).

The family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 20735 Leonard Road, Lutz, Florida, on October 4, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Eric's honor to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
