Donna L Thompson

Announcing the passing of Donna L Thompson, age 88 on March 22, 2023 in Spring Hill, Florida to join her beloved husband Ray B Thompson of 66 years in heaven. Donna was born in Kenova, West Virginia on May 26, 1934 to Sam and Fern Billups. Her heart never left West Virginia even though she and Ray lived in numerous locations during their time with the United States Air Force and after. Finally retiring in 1999 to Timber Pines community in Spring Hill, Florida where she took in the amenities of the active senior community. Most notably golf, bowling, bocce, sorority, church and Bridge. Donna had exceptional organization and number skills as she worked in many accounting departments over the years on Air Force Bases and local business wherever she and Ray lived. Donna had lifelong friends from Kenova (dubbed the Golden Girls) and so many close friends in Timber Pines. Donna could start and engage conversation with anybody that crossed her path. Her wide smile, keen wit and positive outlook will be sorely missed. She loved her family and leaves behind one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Susan Thompson of Spring Hill, FL. One sister, Joyce Clark of St. Louis and one sister-in-law, Juan Thompson of Owensboro, KY. Donna had three grandchildren, Rebecca Allen and Tim Thompson Jr in the Chicago area and Cara Thompson in Charleston SC. Donna had four Great Grandchildren, Giana, Alexa, Jake and Conner. Five nieces, three Nephews and many great grand nieces and nephews. If you knew Donna you loved Donna.
