Debra Jane Mitchell

Debra Jane (Radosevich) Mitchell, age 75, died on Feb. 18, 2026 at home of several illnesses. Born Oct. 31, 1950 in Columbus, OH, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Dorman Mitchell, and parents, Nicholas and Marilyn Radosevich. Survivors include cousins, Roger Mann (Anna) of Springfield, VA, Marcia Rector (Ray) of New Port Richey, FL, and Sara Copenhaver (Chip) of Hilliard, OH; step-son, James Mitchell-Clyde of Agoura Hills, CA, and step-daughter, Stephanie Mitchell of Los Angeles, CA.

She is a graduate of Charter Oak State College, major in general psychology, and graduated from Whitehall-Yearling HS, Columbus, OH in 1968.

As a resident of Los Angeles, Marina Del Rey, & Hollywood, CA for 30 years, she enjoyed her acting career until retirement, and both Debra and Jim moved to FL. She continued her active memberships with Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) and Motion Picture Industry (MPI).

A descendent of The Daniel Nelson Family, who founded Nelsonville, OH, and the Fisk Family, she was a member of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Nabby Lee Ames Chapter, in Athens, OH.

The family thanks Bayonet Point Hospital, Baycare Homecare, and Gulfside Hospice Care for their excellent care.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Gulfside Hospice & Palliative Care. Memorial Service is not yet determined. Final interment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery in Nelsonville, OH.
