She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, devotion to family, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her and her infectious love of life.
Carmen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and traveling. Her love and guidance will continue to live on through those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her sister, Rosario Montoya; her daughter, Maria Betz and fiancé Robert Bower Jr.; her son, John Betz and wife Karin Betz; her grandson, Evan Betz; and her granddaughter, Caitlin Henry.
Carmen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Betz; her brother, Roberto Parilli; her father, Camilo Parilli; and her mother, Maria Parilli.
Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
Memorial Mass and internment will be held at St. Mary’s in Barnesville, MD on Friday June 5 at noon.
