Dad, I miss you every day. I still can't believe you are gone. My heart feels empty. You were such a wonderful Man.

I can't believe it's already been over a year. I miss you everyday. I'm taking a huge step in my life and there's nothing I want more then to have you there next to me. I miss you and love you so much grandpa.

Dad I miss you & think about you alot. I think you passed to young. I won't forget how you changed my life. You are the the true meaning of a real man. You came into my life @ seven & I called you father from that moment . You raised me as your own & gave me that  precious gift. 
I wish the Tigers would have won 1 more series before you left,I wish I could have told you I loved you one more time. Suddenly you were gone from all the lives you left your mark upon. I would like one more hour back to talk about our Red wings,Tigers,& Lions together one more time. I love you dad,see you in heaven. I guess I'll have to wait till then.

I have so many wonderful memories with Art. He was my dad's sports buddy. They would watch all the games together. He took me in when my father passed away when I was 20 years old. He was a wonderful man with a big heart. My prayers and love go out to Robin and the entire Argyris family. God Bless

Arthur was more than my friend, he's always been a big brother. From my earliest memories of midget football, playing baseball and being by my side as my sponsor when i made my holy communion. During a time of need, Art was there, talking with me, helping me, advising me. Time would pass yet, whenever we'd see one another, that smile was always there and we both knew what we meant to one another - brothers to the end. Arthur was always supportive and never judgmental.....a trait I can only hope to live up to. I've always loved this man and will keep his memory in my heart.

My grandfather was the best male figure I could have ever asked for. He was kind, smart, caring, and funny. I'll never forget the things he did for Sarah and I growing up, and I'll never respect anyone more than I respect him still. His love will stay with me and my family forever. I just wish that he would've been able to walk me down the aisle and to meet his great grandchildren. I miss you grandpa, rest in peace. Love you.

I remember Art as a happy go-lucky person...always kind and respectful to me.  Rest in peace, Art.  Love, Emma.

From the very first time that my sister Robin,introduced Art to me, I knew she had found the one.  They were always such a happy couple.  Art was kind, funny, smart and an all-round likeable guy.  We all enjoyed many adventures together.  He was the best to my sister and a perfect fit for our family.   I always admired their relationship.  He will always be greatly missed in this family.  Good bye Art, rest in peace.

My early memories growing up in Detroit with my younger brother Arthur are forever a part of me. Arthur, Rosie,Betty and I grew up in a rough part of Detroit.  Many times I stepped in to protect my siblings from undesirable situations.  I became the protector of Arthur and my sisters on more than one occasion. Arthur was the scholar and had an uncanny ability to recall baseball history, but also enjoyed a variety of sports.  Growing up our Mother commented about our different personalities and wished that she could somehow fuse the two together.  My brother and I enjoyed quality time and a good relationship, and even though we were a thousand miles apart, we talked frequently and when he received his diagnosis I made it clear to him how much I loved him and that I was praying for the very best for him. I will never forget my dear brother Arthur.

Our sympathy & prayers are with the entire family.  We had the priviledge of knowing Art for a short time.  We are his next door neighbors here in Florida. We shared  a common thing which was kinda neat, my husband & I both are from Michigan too! I can express my feelings and love for my Uncle Arthur principally through a love and passion for baseball. I remember so well the times that he traveled to Michigan when I was younger, and showing him my baseball card collection. Then when I lived in California, his house was the place to go to watch a big game and share in the glory or pain of victory or defeat. As we watched games he often shared memories of his childhood or adolescence going to baseball games at Tiger Stadium, when he would recite statistics for certain players or the score of a game played 40 years ago! Inevitably, those memories extended to life outside of baseball, and I came to know parts and histories of my family that I never knew, which I cherished. I loved and looked-up to my uncle for his kindness, tranquility, intelligence, and gentle nature. When I moved away from California, we spoke every few weeks, and when too much time passed I always got an itchy feeling that I needed to catch up with him. I have the feeling it was the same for him, and it made me feel good to be in his thoughts. He always summed that up very simply in a message that he left on my phone many times that was always the same….”Jason. This is your Uncle. I called. Bye bye.” I would leave him a message now, simple, yet with all of the love and respect that I felt for him that I know he would understand, even though it was unsaid “Uncle. This is your nephew. I miss you. Bye bye.”

Grandpa was the greatest man I have ever known, I am so blessed to have had him in my life. He was the closest thing I had to a father and He was the best I could have asked for. I miss him with all my heart but I know that he is watching over me. I am sad that he isn't here but I am so happy he is no longer in pain. I will always remember all the little jokes he would play on us, or how he would throw balled up napkins at us, and how he would walk around singing. He will always be in my heart. I love you so much and miss you Grandpa :)

Uncle Art was such a kind and gentle man. I didn't get to see him often, but it was always such a nice visit when we did get to spend family time together! I am so appreciative that he and Aunt Robin made it to my wedding and to spend time with my mom; who was sick at the time.  It meant a great deal to all of us. I am so sorry for your loss and have nothing but kind memories of time spent with him! Also all of my early memories of his excitement for Detroit sports are great to reflect on! May God Bless you all and I know my mother has welcomed Uncle Art lovingly. They were always buds... Always in our prayers.

We are so sorry for your loss.  I will be posting photos taken in the early years of our friendship.  He was my first brother in law and I had a soft spot in my heart for him.  He will be missed.

My Dad wasw the most wonderful Man I knew. Kind, honest, hard working, loyal and loving. There are many more things I can think of.
