who left us too soon on November 14, 2025. His absence leaves a profound emptiness in our
hearts, but his warmth, humor, and generosity will continue to guide us.
Al lived a life defined by kindness and purpose. He gave freely of himself—through volunteer work,
philanthropy, and simple everyday acts of compassion. He was awarded “Volunteer of the Year” for
Pasco County Schools this year. He had a remarkable gift for making people feel seen and cared for.
Whether he was helping a neighbor, supporting a cause he believed in, or brightening someone’s
day with a joke, he lived with the quiet intention of easing the world’s burdens.
A retired special education teacher, he became a masterful baker. He filled countless homes with
the aroma of delicious fresh bread and pastries, sharing his creations with friends, family, and
anyone who could use a little comfort. He was also an avid traveler, exploring the world with
curiosity and joy, always eager to learn, meet new people, and savor the beauty of different
cultures.
He was funny—truly, effortlessly funny. He could crack a joke at just the right moment, not to draw
attention, but to make someone smile when they needed it most. His humor was one of his greatest
gifts.
Alvin Tillim is survived by his grandsons, Jack Randall Tillim, Ryan Palmer Tillim, daughter in-law
Ana Maria Terrasa-Tillim, and a large, loving extended family who adored him. He also leaves behind
nieces and nephews, and countless friends who became family over the years. His generosity, his
laughter, and his wide, open heart live on in all of us.
We will honor his life by carrying forward the kindness he showed so effortlessly. A celebration of
life gathering will be planned for a later date.
Rest in peace dear Zadie. Thank you for all your love and support. Thank you for being you! We all
love you and will miss you very much.
