He was born on July 22, 1954 to Raymond & Annie Arguello in Denver, Colorado.
Ray was involved with multiple unions throughout his life, including being an international rep for the UAW. He believed very strongly in justice, and believed every hard worker had the right to a safe, fair workplace.
He loved going fishing, the Broncos, spoiling his dogs, Xena and Rookie, and spending his days going from one place to another, making friends wherever he went.
Ray is survived by his wife, JoAnn, his daughter, RayAnn, his son, Ray, his grandchildren, Trinity & Diego, his sisters, Sandra, Sharon, and Debbie, and numerous friends and family, people whose lives he impacted positively, all those who can say; “I am better for knowing him, because he did that for me, I am a better man.”
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his brothers, Ernie, Maxi & Freddie, and his sister Linda.
A memorial service will be held in Colorado at All Saints in Denver at 11am on January 8, 2026 with a reception to celebrate Ray’s life; followed by a celebration at his home in Las Vegas at his favorite restaurant Guiseppes at 5pm on January 16th, 2026: as he always wanted, all are welcome.
