I worked with Dave in Vegas for a family law firm. I was a law clerk at the time and he was just hired to an attorney position. We immediately bonded. We both liked the shows Cheers and Boston Legal. We always had lunch together and would playfully revel in the idea of opening a law firm together some day. Unfortunately, I left the firm and moved out of state. Always gracious, Dave was one of my signees to vouch for my character and fitness for the Bar (multiple times since it took me multiple times to pass). He never made me feel ashamed for not passing my first or second time because he was a kind, compassionate, humble human being. One of the most gentle people I ever met, it was a blessing to have known him. My thoughts and prayers to his loved ones.
