Chet Jared Boyle

Chet Jared Boyle passed away on January 20th, 2025. Chet was the best son and little brother anyone could have asked for, and had a way of lighting up the room and making everyone feel better whenever he was present. Chet fought demons his entire life he never told anyone about, we’re all extremely proud of him and know he’s happier and at peace.

Chet Jared Boyle was born February 1st, 2008 in Henderson, Nevada, where he lived most of his life. He was the child of Gary Boyle and Melissa Burnett, and brother of Wyatt and Cecily Boyle.

Chet was a student at Coronado High School, and had previously attended Bob Miller Middle School, and Twitchell Elementary.

In his free time, Chet loved playing video games such as Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox, Among Us, Team Fortress 2, Terraria, and countless others. He often woke his family at night yelling and screaming while playing games with his friends. Chet also loved scrolling through Tik Tok and Instagram reels, looking for posts to send to his siblings and friends.

Chet loved spending time with his siblings and dogs. He gave his siblings and other family the best hugs, often squeezing too hard or trying to lift them up while doing so. Chet was always gentle with his dogs and conscientious of their needs, regularly letting them sleep in his bed against his parents’ wishes.

He also loved music. He listened to it nearly every chance he got; namely during bus rides, while grinding video games, and whenever he was scrolling social media. Probably even during class, if we’re being honest. Chet regularly “shazamed” and searched for songs wherever he heard them, always looking to add to his music collection.

Chet also loved new experiences and trying new things. In particular, he loved trying out new desserts, and often on birthdays he would ask to try new things rather than get gifts.

Chet took many unflattering photos of his friends and family, but also photos of the sky, sunset, and clouds. He was always trying to make people laugh by creating funny Tik Toks and other videos.

Most importantly, Chet had an amazing and tender heart. He was very kind, sensitive, and felt deeply. He was always quick with a joke, smile, and helping hand. He loved making people smile and laugh, and was always seeking another adventure.

Chet is preceded in death by LeAnn Burnett.

Chet is survived by Melissa Burnett, Gary & Jamie Boyle, Wyatt Boyle, Cecily Boyle, Bill & Judy Boyle, and Roger Burnett. He also has countless cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who love him endlessly.

Our lives are forever changed for the better by his birth and having him in our lives. Thank you to the Nevada Donor Network for reaching out and giving us the opportunity to bring light or life to other families.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on the 8th of February at 3:00PM at the church at 400 S. Water Street, Henderson, Nevada 89015 for close friends and family.
