

Bruce Mitchell “Mitch” Pritchett, 70, of Henderson, NV, passed peacefully on September 17, 2025 at St Rose Dominican Hospital, Henderson, NV.
He was born in Fresno, CA on November 17, 1954 and welcomed by mother Doris, father Hershall, and older brother Rick. Mitch was a 1972 graduate of Hoover High School and a retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant.
Mitch served in the Air Force for over 23 years as, among other things, a Security Forces dog handler, and an instructor for satellite and wideband communications equipment. He spent nearly 17 years stationed overseas at bases in Greece, Germany, and England where he met and married the love of his life Tina Susan Pritchett (nee Clark). An avid darts player, Mitch and Tina could always be found surrounded by buddies, beer, and bullseyes.
In 1997, while stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, NV Mitch decided to retired from the military. He and Tina chose to remain in the area, settling in Henderson, NV. He then spent the next 20 years working for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) as a valued member of the Radio Systems Bureau before retiring in 2020. Not one to sit still Mitch then moved on to the LVMPD’s Fleet Services department where he was still working when he died.
Mitch has many friends around the world who mourn his passing as well as family near and far who look forward to seeing him again. He is survived by his older brother Rick L. Pritchett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tina S. Pritchett, his mother, Doris F. Cagle, and his father, Hershall L. Pritchett.
The funeral service is being held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005 on October 7, 2025 at 8:40 a.m.
