Max I think of you often and remember running into you at the Chapultepec for Jazz sessions or listening to Trios.  You showed me how to dress as you were always dressed 'cool' and we're into shoes. These were your Trademark. Rest in Peace my big brother. 

My first thought and feeling was of sadness and then thinking of my brother I remember that he was a happy person. He laughed a lot and was very kind to me. When I was 16, he lent me his car and I was supposed to leave it at a certain place when done and I foolishly left him a note saying that the keys were under the mat.  He never let me forget my silly mistake.  He was very handsome and of strong character and very dignified.  I celebrate his life and thank him for his mentoring and love for me.  Judy

I have great memories of my brother.  We have been close throughout life but we're drawn closer in my high school days when I worked with him during my summer and after school job. He loved baseball and had the games on all the time.  He was very supportive when I started Regis and all the way through to my graduation. He was a Jazz enthusiast and loved Mexican Corridos which we attempted singing along with the music. Max enjoyed food . But most of all he loved New Mexico style food and New Mexico music. I spent time with he and. Bernice before he succumbed to cancer and not age, because he was 'with it' to the end. Thanks brother for defending our country but thank you for the car you gifted me in college... You were AWSOME!




So many memories to pick from, but My ultimate favorite memory of Max is his music in the living room with grandma Bernice. Either he would get her up to dance or he would literally shake his booty! 


It is difficult to put into words how great Max was. Me and Judy, his sister visited him his last week and he was still sharp and remembered the past much better than both of us, and we laughed. He was lucky to have Bernice and his side and looked after him without complaints. We traveled to Blackhawk with both and had great times that we will not forget. I'm sure Max is on a machine up there. God BLESS!!!!!
