Marcia Yvonne Garcia

Marcia Yvonne Garcia, age 85, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Tender Care Assisted Living in Denver, Colorado. The fourth child of William Burke and Viola (Jordan) Burke, Marcia was born on June 20, 1939, in South Plainfield, New Jersey.

Marcia focused her attention on her loving husband Tony, their five children, close friends, and a shared love of traveling. Marcia enjoyed watching sports and cheered on the Denver Broncos and Tiger Woods to victory. Marcia enjoyed humorous stories which often caused her to share her distinguishable laugh. Marcia was always sharing jokes she heard with her children but left many of her listeners hanging when she forgot the punchlines.

Marcia survives through her four surviving children, Tony Jr (Rose), David (Diane), Scott (Debbie), and Marlene (Greg). Her Grandchildren are Nicholas (Sarah), Charlotte (Manual), Jason, Jeremy, and Danielle. Her Great-grandchildren are Quincie, Faith, and Hope. Marcia is preceded in death by her husband Tony and son, Michael Joseph.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 1st at Calvary Castle Rock Church 1100 Caprice Dr, Castle Rock, CO 80109. Services will begin at 11:00 AM MT with a simple repast to follow. The burial service will take place after church services and repast at Cedar Hills Cemetery 880 E. Wolfensberger Rd. in Castle Rock Colorado 80109.
