Helen was born in Denver CO where she lived the majority of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who has found peace after fighting chronic kidney disease for many years.
When Helen was younger she was active in church for many years where she taught Catechism. You could always count on her to be straight and honest with you and never tiptoed around an issue, question or opinion. She had a big personality that gave life to any room she walked into and her humor was contagious. She loved to cook and bake for her family and we all enjoyed eating it. She was an avid reader and after she lost her vision she continued her love of books by listening to audio books. She enjoyed a nice cold Bud Light, listening to music and loved dancing. Over the last few years her happiest days were when her grandchildren and great grandchildren came to visit her just to have a chat.
Helen is survived by:
Daughter Christine (Andy), son Gilbert and daughter in law Mona
Grandchildren Isaac, Misty (Adam), Vincent, Donavon (Annia), Alysha (Damian), Christina, Joshua, Jacob, Timothy (Ashlee)
13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild
Sisters Dolores (Jake), Yolanda, Donna, Mona and brother Jerry and numerous nieces and nephews
She was reunited with her son Michael, daughter Laura, brothers Tim and Frankie, sister Ruth and her mom Beatrice where she is able to see them after so many years in the dark.
At her request there will be no services – you will be missed so very much, remembered fondly and loved forever by so many people.
