
Gary Curry, 88, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away on August 20, 2024 after suffering a fall. He was born on February 12, 1936 and adopted by Francis and Madonna Curry in Hardin, Montana. He had one brother, Larry , who predeceased him. He graduated from Lodge Grass High School in 1953. He married Dona Curry, on August 31, 1957 in Wyola, Montana. They moved to California while Gary served in the US Navy before settling in Arvada, Colorado in 1962. He was the father to two children, Gregory Scott, born June 1959 and Michele Marie, born August 1960. Gary was a HVAC Engineer and owned his own business, Colorado Consulting Engineers, for many years before retiring and then enjoyed playing golf and making golf clubs. He loved his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren as they grew up. Gary was known as a kind and generous man by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Greg, his wife, Betsy, his granddaughter, Allison (Kyle Halvorson), great-granddaughter, Delilah, and his grandson, Scott (Molly). He is also survived by his daughter, Michele, her husband, Dave Kuglin, his granddaughter, Stacy (Ryan Stapp), great-granddaughter, Carter, granddaughter, Dana (Steven Weijers) and great-granddaughter, Mylah.
Gary will be interred with military honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO 80236 on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 2:30pm, meeting at Staging Area B. After the ceremony, a reception will be held at Michele’s neighborhood clubhouse, Governor’s Ranch, located at 9050 W. Prentice Avenue, Littleton, CO, 80123.
