Emma Emelia Dennison

Emma Marie Dennison (88) of Denver, CO Passed away in her home on February 18, 2024. Emma was born on June 14, 1935 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Isidro and Della Martinez. She grew up with 3 sisters and 2 brothers in the Denver area. Emma had a beautiful heart and smile. She loved her family and she adored her great grandchildren. She had many friends who loved her as their own mother/grandmother. She loved to play BINGO, go shopping and she loved car rides. She was very lucky when it came to playing pickles and scratch tickets. She was a very strong willed lady that didn’t let anything stop her. Emma is preceded in death by her Parents, Brothers, Tony Martinez, Jesse Martinez, Sisters, Mary Heath, Ruby Potts, the Love of her Life, her Husband, Gaylord ‘Dennis’ Clark Dennison Sr. and Son Gaylord Clark Dennison Jr. She is survived by her Daughters, Cheryl Haskell and Emily Calhoun (Pedro), her Granddaughters Amanda Castillo (Michael), Justina Castillo and Letisha Castillo, her Great Grandchildren Monét, Sailea, Jeremiah, and Aniyah, and her Sister, Joan Vasquez. Emma will be dearly missed by her Family and Friends.

Services will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church and she will be put to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery followed by a memorial reception at the Northwest Aerie on Thursday, February 29th beginning at 10:30am.
