Ella Adams, long time resident of Colorado Springs died on January 24, 2023. She was born in New York City on April 20, 1933 to David and Olivia Hutchinson. She worked as an employment interviewer for the N.Y. State Dept. for Labor for 35 years until April 1989 and them moved to Colorado Springs with her son Michael.
After retirement, Ella worked as a receptionist and radio and theatre actress. She volunteered at the senior information center and was a reader for the Institute for the Blind.
She loved listening to music and reading and writing poetry. Some of her poems were included in several anthologies.
She liked to watch movies, knit, paint landscapes, make figurines out of clay and dining out.
Most of all she loved her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved son, Michael Reyes, grandson Christopher Michael, daughter in law Regina and niece Edna Word.
