Brian Hastings Combes

Brian Hastings Combes passed away peacefully on April 6th, 2025 in Littleton, Colorado, he was 65. He is survived by his wife Sherene and his children Cordell and Raelee Combes, his mother Alicia Combes, his brother Wesley (Sara) Combes, sister Martha (Dan) Gorman and Mother-in-Law Barbara Shriver. He is preceded in death by his father John Combes and Brother-in-Law Shohn Shriver.

Brian was born on August 11th, 1959 in Bellingham WA, then his family moved to Colorado from Portland, OR in 1972. He graduated from Columbine High School in 1978 than became a graduate of the University of Colorado and earned a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1999. He went on to be an Inventor and Entrepreneur. He received a United States Patent on September 25th, 2001 for his Tie Down Device which he named the EZ Grabbit Tarp Holder.

He loved to ride his dirt bike and take his kids camping. He loved going on an annual dirt bike and fishing trip with his son and friends. He landscaped our backyard beautifully and was a welder-by-trade and could build and repair most anything.

Services for our much loved Brian will be at the Unity Spiritual Center Denver, 3021 S. University Blvd., Denver, CO 80210 at 2:00 pm on Saturday May 17th 2025.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Cancer Research Institute would be appreciated.
