She passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023, surviving her husband Edgar Crespo who passed in 2008. She leaves behind children: Edgar Cesar Crespo, Yvonne Limoges and Yvette Crespo; as well as seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Born in Tampa, she lived in New York City while growing up, but lived most of her life in St. Petersburg, Florida.
She was extremely devoted to her family and extended family of which she cared for and helped in so many ways throughout her life. She was also a very giving person and always helped others as she could.
She was talented in many areas. Good in math, she worked as a bookkeeper for ADT in her 20s. She was an expert seamstress, sewed for herself and others well into her 90s, as well as having taught sewing in schools. She was a volunteer extraordinaire; helping in many organizations, especially the school system, receiving many awards for years.
She could draw and paint beautifully, did arts and crafts, she loved to dance, enjoyed gardening and was a health enthusiast, running in the city’s “K- runs.” She loved traveling around the US, and to many countries.
She was an outgoing, friendly person and healthy well into her 90s. She led a full life and will be truly missed!
