Valerie (71) was born in Patterson, New Jersey to Arther & Muriel (Smith) Von-Mora-Moore. She graduated from Parsippany High school with a love for cosmetology. Valerie was married to husband Colonel James J. Shear (Retired) for 53 wonderful years. She spent 8 years living in Europe as a dedicated military spouse. When returning to the states, she was a well-loved Hair Stylist at Regis in Tyrone Mall.
She leaves behind her lifelong husband, Col. James Shear, daughter & son in law, Patricia and Daniel Poorman. Another son in law, Premysl Gala. Grandchildren: Raven, Corrin, Abigail, and Kieran.
Sisters: Judy Modes (Bruce) and Virginia Kent.
Sister in laws: Cathy Wysocki, Joanne Buccine, and Dennis Shear.
Valerie was preceded in death by her parents. Her daughter Pamela Moore-Shear, her brothers Arther and Bruce Moore. Her brother in laws: Fred Kent, William Shear, Joseph Shear, and Richard Wysocki.
Valerie’s Memorial services will be at a later time.
