Sandra Helene Sanders

Sandra Helene Sanders, 85, of Clearwater, passed away Wednesday March 24, 2021. Sandra was born August 15, 1935 in St. Louis, MO to the late Charles R. and Fern L. Muller. She was married on May 29, 1964 to Robert W. Sanders resulting in a 56 year and 10-month union.

She resided for many years in St. Louis, MO, the Kansas City area and moved to Florida in 1982.

Sandra was active as a young girl and was a baton majorette, played the accordion and was a Job’s Daughter Honored Queen in St. Louis, MO. She was a lifelong career woman who managed multiple credit unions and finished her career as the office manager for Leet Incorporated Interior Design Firm, Clearwater, Florida, retiring at the age of 75.

Her interests included many years of bowling, cards, bingo, traveling with friends and was an avid football and baseball fan. She enjoyed her Buccaneers, Rays, KC Chiefs and Royals. The things she enjoyed most in life were being near the water, enjoying the sunshine and a good party being surrounded by family and friends.

Sandra H. Sanders is survived by her loved husband Robert W. Sanders; brother John (Kate) Muller of NY, NY; daughter Cheryl (Randy) Daily of Olathe, KS; Scott (Dale) Sanders of Hinesville, GA; Pam (Dan) Barrett of Clever, MO; Matt (Sherri) Sanders of Largo, FL; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family, friends and services will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021, at 3:30 pm-4:30 pm at the National Cremation Society, 4945 East Bay Dr., Clearwater, FL, 33764.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Sandra’s name to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
